Taryns Update aus der Tlholego School

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Friends of Tlholego,

As we reach the close of Term 3, we reflect on a journey that has been both deeply emotional and profoundly meaningful. This term has reminded us of the strength of our community, the resilience of our students, and the importance of holding one another through both joy and sorrow

In Memoriam – Remembering Boinelo

This term we experienced the heartbreaking loss of our beloved student, Boinelo. His radiant smile, kind heart, and bright potential will forever remain in our memories. His passing left a deep mark on our hearts, and our school community came together in grief, support, and love. We remember him not only for the promise he carried but for the joy and warmth he shared with all of us. He will be dearly missed, and his memory will continue to inspire us.

A Milestone Achievement – Congratulations to Bokamoso

Amidst the sadness, we also celebrate a moment of immense pride: Bokamoso has successfully passed her matric exams! This is a tremendous achievement, and we could not be more proud of her perseverance, dedication, and growth. Her success brings hope and encouragement to all of us, reminding us of the bright futures that await our learners. Congratulations, Bokamoso – you have made us all so proud!

Our Journey This Term

The weeks have been filled with opportunities for emotional growth and healing. We are proud of how our students found their voices to express their feelings, whether through writing, art, discussion, or simply holding space for one another. The way our learners supported each other through grief, while still celebrating each other’s victories, has been a powerful testament to the values of empathy, resilience, and community that guide us at Tlholego Homeschool.

Looking Ahead

As we step into Term 4, we carry both the memory of those we have lost and the hope of the future that our learners are building. Together, we will continue to nurture not just academic growth, but the emotional and spiritual well-being of our children.

This term the Grade 5 team will be going on Camp to Magaliesburg. We will be leaving on the 20th October and returning on the 23rd of October.

Thank you to all parents, families, and friends for your ongoing support. It is through this shared commitment that we are able to walk this journey together.

With gratitude,
The Tlholego Homeschool Team
